Online Teaching future trends

Nowadays and in the near future, teaching and learning online will have to adapt to new demands from students and teachers, new technological devices and educational  software. Researchers have been studying and analizing these new trends in order to improve effectiveness of online teaching and learning.

An example of this is the survey conducted by Kim and Bong in 2006, in which three important issues, among others, were highlighted, such as, online teacher's skills, online teaching techniques and assessment of the quality of online teaching.

ON LINE LEARNING AND TEACHING

Effective online learning depends widely on effective online teaching. It is necessary to consider teacher's online effective training. Online learning has been fostered by LMS with platforms such as MOODLE, CANVAS, BLACKBOARD, and others.

Also known as e-learning and v-learning, teachers  all over the world must get acquainted with this approach, as well as with the theory supporting it, CONNECTIVISM.

On line teachers training is a permanent process, as this approach is progressing as technology overcomes our every day life.
